Notes & Observations
The surrounding rock of the specimen is yellow siltstone, characteristic of a fluviolacustrine facies with a well-developed granular sedimentary structure. According to the national 1:5,000,000 geological map, the site is assigned to the Pliocene N₂ stratum. It is inferred that this locality represents the ancestral lineage of Tchangmargarya, which dispersed into the lake from the ancient Nanpanjiang River system.
